The Story of Quinta Miamar
Quinta Miamar consists of two houses: the Main House (2BR/2BA) and the Cabina (1BR/1BA), both built around the large pool in an oasis–like environment with lush landscaping.
Quinta Miamar is our family holiday home and therefore a lot of attention has been given to comfort and decoration while maintaining its original Costa Rican character and tradition.
We have bought the Quinta in 2017 and renamed it to Miamar from its previous name "Senderos del Nandamojo". The Nandamojo watershed/river is right behind the property. Besides Miamar the Quinta is often also referred to as "the beach house" or "villa crypto".
The Quinta is a very sociable place with large terraces and an open kitchen/dining/living room concept as well as an adjunct coffee area. There is even a purpose built BBQ Rancho.
Our home is a perfect place to chill by the pool, lounge in the hammock, enjoy outdoor dinners on one of the terraces or have a coffee in the middle of the forest – a peaceful refugee from busy and hectic days in the cities. The serenity of this property cannot be beaten, whilst still allowing easy access to Tamarindo (bustling tourism hub) only 30 min away.
Wildlife abounds just outside your door – it is a common scene to see howler monkeys, exotic birds, squirrels or iguanas in the nearby trees.
